Briony Campbell- The Dad Project

I just remembered this project, haven't looked at it since I saw it at an exhibition in London last year. I thought it was so beautiful it actually moved me to tears- and I can't say that a series of photos has done that to me before.
The project is all about the girl and the relationship between her and her father as he suffers from a terminal illness. She documents his last days.

Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen!)

Rediscovered this jem with mateys Pete, Max and Matt- oh yeah!

'Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.'

Listen to this if you ever need to hear some wise words, it will make you feel better about life.

Happy 70th Birthday!!

Well yes, I know, it was yesterday- but better late than never.. eh.
The Legend would've been 70, and I thought I would mention it on my blog..
I Love this photo of John and Yoko by Annie Leibovitz, the fact it was taken on the day he died makes me love it even more in a weird way...

Riverboating down The Cherwell

Lovely October afternoon spent in Oxford with my mum and sister.

Seriously diggin this eery darkness October is giving us.
Loving the contrast between the dark, dark blacks with the vibrant colours, especially the greens- Thank you rain!

Sunflowers make me happy :)

Sunflowers are the best of all flowers. I adore them.

“I don't think there's anything on this planet that more trumpets life that the sunflower. For me that's because of the reason behind its name. Not because it looks like the sun but because it follows the sun. During the course of the day, the head tracks the journey of the sun across the sky. A satellite dish for sunshine. Wherever light is, no matter how weak, these flowers will find it. And that's such an admirable thing. And such a lesson in life."

Some more colourful Holga pictures, I just can't resist.
End of summer in London and Leeds.

Little Tokyo! in Leeds.
The most amazing restaurant, not much of a photo but I needed to blog it just because I loved the place so much. Actually felt like I'd gone to Japan for a couple of hrs... one day it will happen, and hopefully for longer than a couple of hours. I reccommend this place to anyone..
